Systems of Healing: Envisioning Educational Development Future(s)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Our roundtable responds to the heightened need to engage in collaborative healing, given the systemic nature of our individual vulnerability, trauma, and inequity during the pandemic. Through the power of shared storytelling and organizational vulnerability (Little et al., 2021; Moon, 2010), we invite POD members to articulate how they have (re)constructed narratives about their role as educational developers, and to identify the new relationships they have cultivated to engage in the healing process. In collectively naming and sharing these healing narratives, processes, and relationships, this roundtable invites participants to re-imagine the purpose and meaning of their future professional work.
