I currently work with biomedical science PhD programs and postdoctoral training at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. My primary focus areas are on graduate and postdoctoral career and professional development, and on collaborating with and advising faculty on course/program design, development, and evaluation. My academic interests are in graduate student and postdoc development as future faculty who may teach in a university setting - which is my primary connection to educational development - and in the experiences of LGBTQ+ biomedical/life science graduate students and postdocs. On 12/1 my role transitions to being Assistant Professor of Clinical Anatomy, Cell Biology, and Physiology at IU School of Medicine - keeping most of my current responsibilities while shifting to teaching for our new Biomedical Science Teaching and Learning PhD minor.
