I joined the Center for Distributed Learning at the University of Central Florida (UCF) Go Knights! as an instructional designer with over 15 years of experience working in higher education. Holding an MBA with a focus on Computer Information Systems from the University of Turabo and an MS in Educational Technology from DeVry University, I have served as a full-time faculty member, Business and IT Department Chair, applications and systems administrator, web consultant, and an instructional designer. As someone who has worked in various positions and departments across several Florida universities, I bring a commitment to teaching and learning innovation, systems thinking, and cross-disciplinary partnerships. My professional interests include data analytics, gamification, mobile learning, and the use of virtual and augmented realities to support meaningful learning environments.
